Crystal comes from an ancient lineage of dreamers. She has been gifted with prophetic dreams her whole life. In addition to day time dreams, she often finds guidance and messages in visions she perceives in waking life. The shifting clouds and other patterns found in nature often trigger intuitive knowledge to come to her in the language of symbols. In this way she is a natural go-between for communications between the unseen and the seen.
Crystal has also always been gifted with a unique ability to find lost items. It frequently happens that someone will voice an object that they are looking for and Crystal will realize that she happens to be looking right at it. Also, she is constantly finding rarity in nature such as four leaf clovers- her special hello from her unbroken Celtic ancestors- and rare mushrooms and wildflowers. These entities reach out to communicate with her because they recognize her as an ally.
Plants and animals have reached out to Crystal her whole life but Plant Spirit Medicine first came forward to offer healing when she was pregnant with her first child. Pregnancy often causes women to have sinus troubles as an increase in blood flow causes constriction in the sinuses. Crystal was suffering from this and that all changed after a dream in which a boy in her dream introduced himself as Uva Ursea. Upon awaking she remembered the unique name and looked it up. As it happened, Uva Ursea was the name of an important plant to the indigenous people of her home. Knowing that it was a plant that was reaching out she reached out to it telepathically and received the guidance that she was to get some of the plant and sew up an eye pillow containing the plant and then lay with the pillow on her eyes for 10 minutes a day. She went to work as instructed and found that her sinus troubles vanished. Since then she has nurtured this relationship with all the plants she encounters and has had many wonderful learning and healing experiences.
Another experience that led Crystal to another important healing modality happened when she was at a Barter Faire Festival in Tonasket, WA. She was enjoying dancing around a large bon fire when her first ecstatic dance state took over. Her fingers began dancing along with the rest of her body. She didn’t know what she was doing but could feel the magic of the movements. She knew with great confidence that somehow her movements were creating harmony in the world around her. They were making connections and openings that her conscious mind had no part in but her deeper self understood completely. Today she incorporates intuitive energy weaving into her soul retrieval practice as a way to move energy, harmonize it, and ground it to create lasting positive changes.
Crystal’s many intuitive gifts - her dreaming, her finding, her plant, animal and spirit communication and her energy weaving- are all so perfectly suited to soul retrieval that Crystal knows her deeper self has been guiding her towards this healing modality her entire life.
